Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital

I recently had the opportunity to photograph the terrific veterinarians and staff at Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital in Shrewsbury, NJ. Owned by Dr. Marco Sima and Dr. Dina Rovere, Happy Tails opened its doors one year ago in the Gerard Plaza on Route 35. Happy Tails is able to offer both the personal service many pet owners want, along with high level care including emergency services and critical care, weekend surgery appointments, house calls, dental care, and hospice. The hospital has an in-house Laboratory, Digital Radiology and Ultrasound. Their doctors and staff have been in the veterinary medicine field for decades.

Dog Wash – Series 2

I am excited to present the photographs I took at the Brielle Dog Boutique last weekend. This is the 2nd in the series of Dog Wash images. Once again, there were a great group of dogs who came to the Boutique to get baths. Some were first timers, and others were regulars. It is funny how some of the dogs get excited to get their baths but others are very frightened and anxious about getting wet! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day.

Dog Wash – Series 1

I had a great time recently taking portraits for my new photography series Dog Wash at the Brielle Dog Boutique in Brielle, NJ. I had the opportunity to meet so many great dogs and owners too! The funniest part of taking pictures of dogs’ being washed was their reactions to getting wet. Some of them smiled throughout their wash – they were simply unaffected by being soaped up! But others were flustered and agitated – they couldn’t wait for their bath to be finished. Here are some of my favorite shots:

MCSPCA Homeward Bound 2014 Calendar

This year I had the honor of photographing the Monmouth County SPCA 2014 calendar, a fundraising program I started with the shelter 10 years ago. After a six year break , I was thrilled to be back photographing some very happy rescued animals from the MCSPCA. We selected a terrific group of dogs, cats and a giant rabbit named Fiona. French Bulldog Greeting Card
